US Marine personnel will be there to accept our toy donations as we arrive. Breakfast will be served. \nThe Impact of Toys for Tots\n\nDelivering Hope Since 1947 \n\n\n\n\n566 Million\nToys Distributed to Date \n\n\n258 Million\nChildren Supported to Date \n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will run from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Please bring an unwrapped toy valued at $10.00 or more for a child of any age\, boy or girl (both if you wish)\, to 14 years old. We will assemble at the Walmart parking lot near the corner of Copper Hill/Rye Canyon & Newhall Ranch Road and leave at 8:15 am. We will take the beautiful drive to Bunnin in Santa Paula and arrive together. \nHere’s what you need to know:\n\n08:00 – Arrive at Wal-Mart Newhall Ranch at Copperhill to sign waivers\n08:15 – Leave to head to Bunnin Chevrolet for a 09:00 arrival\n09:00 to 11:00 – Toys for Tots activities\, and breakfast\n\nURGENT – We need to have a head count of those attending ASAP so we can give Bunnin a head count for food. The entire downstairs is climate controlled and the perfect home for any car that is seeking a space for a short or extended period. There will be brought up two of our muscle cars to the “C” building where there is a showroom style floor to display them for fun. If you have signed up to join in on the parade. The details are not known as of yet. Here are the details. We do know to be there early to avoid blocked streets and traffic. \nIf you are signed up to be in the parade\, here is the ‘411’  you should know:\n\n\nWe have 18 Vettes signed up to be in the parade – additional signups are closed\n\n\nGather on Newhall Avenue very near the DMV facing South (DMV side of the street) @ 6 AM for easy access. Traffic control will be in place shortly after (around 7 AM) making it difficult to line up with our group\n\n\nWe are in Division 3 (middle of the parade)\n\n\nRolling @ 10 AM or so\n\n\nAfter the parade we will be meeting at Margaritas for lunch – 12:00 to 12:30 – signups are closed\nDress yourselves and your car to match the theme of the parade “2019 Theme: The Signal Century: Celebrating Our Press Freedom\,\nwith the Permanent Theme: Celebrating America’s Independence.”  Wear your Red White & Blue or club attire. \nJimmy Webster will be the event coordinator.
