DESCRIPTION:Commemorative Air Force Museum (Camarillo) \nSouthern California Wing \nSunday – July 23rd\, 2023 \nApproximately 1.5-hour guided tour. DESCRIPTION:Independence Day Celebration!! \nTuesday 07/04/2023 \n  Decorate your cars and join us for the Santa Clarita  \n             4th of July Parade \nThis event will be led by Jimmy Webster   \n General Parade Info:   \n\nGather on Newhall Ave. in front of the Newhall DMV (24427 Newhall Ave.\, Newhall 91321). Arrive no later than 700am. Jimmy Webster will be there at 600am. If you are any later than about 700am\, they start blocking the roads off and it gets harder and harder to get in – if at all! Please consider 7am to definitely be your absolute cutoff time.\nDuring your time at the DMV location\, please make sure to sign the parade waiver. Jimmy Webster needs it turned in by 730am.\nWe will wait at the DMV location\, facing south (towards the roundabout) for approximately an hour or so before our slot will be ready for staging\, at which time we’ll move forward a few blocks and should be fully staged by around 730-800am. This should be closer to the Veterans Park in downtown Newhall\, on Newhall Ave.\nWe should be officially rolling around 1000-1030am so during our time in our staging area we’ll have plenty of time for decorating the cars\, having breakfast\, relaxing\, etc. Bring your chairs. Bring water.\nWear your red/white/blue. Decorate your cars. Celebrate our American Independence and don’t be afraid to rap the throttle (rev it up) now and then for the kids along the parade route. The louder the better… they love it! We’ve been told more than once we’re one of the crowd favorites so have fun with it!\n\nAfter the parade\, lunch will be at Mimi’s Bistro (24201 Magic Mountain Parkway\, Santa Clarita  91355)\, at approximately noon (dependent on the time the parade is over).  Restaurant is NOT able to do separate checks – please be prepared to pay cash as the bills will be given out in groups of 4-8 people.
