2025 Corvette ZUV: What Could a Corvette SUV Look Like – According to AI?
Here we go again. The same debate that raged when Porsche decided to save itself by sacrificing everything it stood for—or so the purists screamed—by building an SUV seems likely to erupt, as the evidence that Chevrolet will expand Corvette into a proper brand piles up.
Dec 7, 2022 – Alex Kierstein; MotorTrend
The Corvette is already semi-formally its own brand—Corvettes wear the crossed-flag emblem, not the Chevy bowtie, although there’s a bowtie incorporated in the red flag—so the real controversy centers around expanding the Corvette name to vehicles that aren’t two-door sports cars. And if we’re talking about a new bodystyle, there’s only one thing that makes sense: a crossover.

From the Driver’s Seat – January 2024
At the risk of being my own HIPAA Violation, I must thank the many of my fellow SCVCC members for their visits, calls, cards, and prayers just a few days following our January General Meeting. I missed class in medical school when the instructor told the class that tightness in the throat is “chest pain” and learned that it was related to angina.
Moving along, my January changed with a few days at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where blockage was addressed and I was turned over to the best home nurse, Judy, for safe keeping and some adjusted eating habits.
Meanwhile, our club continued as it should. Our Board and members were on the spot assuring club business went on as intended, with no worries for a president on the mend.
While our outgoing Activities team left us with a January event, the Ojai Farmers Market run, the weather did not support the plan with an anticipated 70% prediction of rain. Out of caution, the run was cancelled. But out of the cancellation, our quest for someone to fill the Activities vacancy, volunteers have come forward. Our team is again shaping up. My already restful January got even better!
The Kearin’s have put together a joint club run to the Petersen Automotive Museum on February 17. This event requires payment in advance, by February 1. If you intend on participating, please have your payment in at the General Meeting on FEB 1!!!
Despite what the rumor mill might tell you, the reports of my demise or infirmity are exaggerated. I intend on leading you all in our February General Meeting on Feb 1 at Santa Clarita Lanes and returning to the driver seat of one or both of my Corvettes soon as well.
The best to you all, and let’s Save the Wave,
Mike
